I'm Elizabeth Aaron, and my passion is to tell stories. As an actor, I love hearing a director's and writer's vision of a character, jumping into that character's skin, and helping to bring a story alive as it was meant to be told. As a writer, I bring my experience playing characters alive on the page.
What I excel at: Playing and writing quirky and intense characters on the hero's journey — experiencing the dilemma between following their heart and fulfilling a duty or obligation — often making you laugh in the process!
In my acting toolkit I carry improv, Meisner, Malmgren and sitcom training and vast knowledge about what makes a story not only great, but memorable. I have played roles that can hit you in the gut, melt your heart, or make you laugh to your toes. As for writing, I wield lifelong experience wrapped up in an MFA in creative writing, digital storytelling, writing for the screen and stage, plus years of writing and editing professionally,
Why I do what I do: I believe everyone on the planet needs to express themselves and tell their story. As an actor, I am privileged to play characters people find they can relate to and help them know they are in good company.
When not on set or stage, you can find me in the great outdoors, having a blast with my family and friends, caring for animals, conversing in French, playing a mean game of ping-pong, or whipping up a story and spinning it on its end.
If you want an outstanding team player on your set or stage and an actor who can deliver a noteworthy, natural performance, I'd love to be a part of your storytelling journey.
